DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?

You do not need a referral to see the physiotherapist as a private patient. You can simply call to make an appointment.

However, if you need to access funding for physiotherapy under the programs listed below, then a supporting referral from your GP is required.

• Medicare funded consultations (EPC plans)

• Veterans Affairs funded consultations

•  WorkSafe claims

• TAC claims
